Vampire Doll: Guilt-Na-Zan is a josei, supernatural, comedy manga written and illustrated by Erika Kari, consisting of 6 volumes. It tells the story of Guilt-na-Zan, a Vampire Lord who was sealed within a black cross for over a hundred years. When he is brought by his exorcist's descendent, Kyoji, he is forced to inhabit a feminine wax doll and work as his maid.

Vampire Doll: Guilt-Na-Zan and HELLSING both feature blood-sucking vampires that are vulnerable in the sunlight. While Bram Stoker's Dracula wasn't the first book to feature vampires, it was key to popularizing them throughout the world. Whether ineffectual like Guilt-na-Zan or vicious like Alucard, both owe a debt to the Impaler himself.

Vampire Doll: Guilt-Na-Zan and HELLSING both borrow from thousands of years of vampiric lore, mythology, and culture. In this ebook, Nick Groom unearths that bloody history, from its origins in death and disease, to its immortal place in popular culture today. Truly, it is a story to die for.

Vampire Doll: Guilt-Na-Zan dresses some of its characters in elegant Gothic "Lolita" outfits. To the unaware, this may sound like a disturbing homage to the classic novel by Vladmir Nobokov. However, this Japanese subculture has little, if anything, to do with that book. In this ebook, Yuniya Kawamura goes over Gothic Lolita and other notable fashion trends in Japan.
