UACCM Transferable Degrees (Open-Transfer Programs and 2+2 Transfer Agreement Programs)

  • Associate of Arts (A.A.) in General Education
  • Associate of Science degrees (A.S.)
  • Associate of General Studies (A.G.S.)
  • Certificate of General Studies (C.G.S.)

If your student’s plan is to seek a baccalaureate degree, start with the end in mind.  Secure the Plan of Study from the four year institution he/she plans to transfer to upon leaving UACCM.  This will help ensure your student takes electives that will fit into the baccalaureate degree.

Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS)

Transferring to four-year universities is simplified through the Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS). This partnership agreement between the state’s public colleges and universities allows students to take the lower division general education requirements without fear of losing credits.

2+2 Transfer Agreements

In addition to the Arkansas Course Transfer System, UACCM has made specific agreements with local four-year universities in order to clarify and streamline the transfer process. These agreements will reflect the exact requirements to take at both UACCM and the transferring institution based on the desired career path. If a student is completing a degree that is not listed as a 2+2 on our website, their UACCM academic advisor will assist them in selecting the appropriate courses to complete their degree.

  • Certificate of Proficiency (C.P.)
  • Technical Certificate (T.C.)
  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

UACCM offers a variety of certificates and degrees designed to prepare your student for employment.  UACCM combines classroom instruction with “hands-on” training in a variety of technical, business, health, and service-related career fields.  These programs are designed to prepare individuals to enter the job market in approximately 21 months or less.

  • Understand and follow your plan of study for the intended certificate or degree.  Students should keep an on-going check list as they track their progress and plan to meet with their academic advisor.    A list of degree requirements for each program may be found in the UACCM Catalog
  • If your student is planning to enter the nursing track at UACCM, which has special requirements for admission to the program, make sure that you meet all application requirements and deadlines.
