Shojo Manga

Fruits Basket is a supernatural, romantic drama written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. It tells the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who moves into a tent after the death of her mother. When she finally meets the owners of the property, the Sohmas, she learns their secret: whenever they're hugged by someone of the opposite sex, they transform into zodiac animals!

We currently have Volume 16 of this manga (23 total). It is Rated T for Teen (Age 13+).

Hell Girl is a supernatural anthology written and illustrated by Miyuki Eto. It tells the story of Ai Enma, the Hell Girl, who is said to help people who request her services. There's just one catch : in exchange for condemning your abusers to an immediate hell, you agree to go to hell yourself after your death.

We currently have Volumes 1-3 of this manga (6 total). It is Rated OT for Older Teen (Ages 16+).

Her Majesty's Dog is a supernatural, romantic comedy written and illustrated by Mick Takeuchi. It tells the story of Amane Kamori, a young medium who is able to control spirits by using their true names. However, while her guardian, Hyoue Inugami, is a ferocious demon dog, to the rest of the world, he looks like a handsome young man.

We currently have Volume 2 of this manga (11 total). It is Rated OT for Older Teen (16+).

The History of Japan is an educational manga supervised by Professor Kaoru Iokibe as part of the ongoing KADOKAWA Learning with Manga Series. It depicts the history and cultural movements of Japan, from its first settlers to the modern day, in an adorable manga style, offering timelines and other resources for study.

We currently have Volume 16 of this manga (16 total).

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is a supernatural, action-adventure written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi. It tells the story of Usagi Tsukino, a middle-school girl who is thrust into a world of monsters and magic when she meets Luna, a talking black cat. Using a special brooch, she takes on the form of Sailor Moon, Pretty Guardian, to battle the forces of evil.

We currently have Volumes 1-2 of this manga (10 total). It is Rated Teen (13+).

Trinity Blood is a supernatural, action-adventure written by Sunau Yoshida and illustrated by Kiyo Kyujo. It tells the story of Esther Blanchett, a young nun working for the Catholic Church. Though an ordinary girl, she is cast into a world of vampires and bloodshed when she meets Abel Nightroad, a noble vampire who feeds on other vampires.

We currently have Volume 1 of this manga (21 total). It is Rated OT for Older Teen (Age 16+).

Vampire Game is a fantasy, action-adventure written and illustrated by Judal. It tells the story of the Vampire King, Duzell, who died in battle against the legendary King Phelios. Swearing revenge on his mortal enemy, he is reincarnated into the body of a cat, only to be taken in by Lady Ishtar, the late king's selfish granddaughter.

We currently have Volumes 1-2 of this manga (15 total). It is Rated T for Teen (Age 13+).

Warriors (Warrior Cats) is an OEL manga spinoff of the book series of the same name written by Dan Jolley (under the pseudonym Erin Hunter) and illustrated by James L. Barry, Bettina M. Kurkoski, and Don Hudson. It tells the story of various characters featured throughout the series, like Graystripe, Tigerstar, and Ravenpaw.

We currently have Volume 1 of this manga (17 total). It is Rated Y for Youth (Age 10+).

Shojo Anime

Fruits Basket (2001)'s opening "For Fruits Basket" was performed by Japanese singer-songwriter Ritsuko Okazaki. Its visuals depict the various members of the Sohma family, isolated from the rest of the world and each other. They also depict Tohru, who will one day free them from their isolation.

Fruits Basket (2019)'s first opening "Again" was performed by Filipina pop singer Beverly. Its visuals depict Tohru, her friends, and the Sohmas during their daily routines, grappling with the sorrows of their past. Its visuals also show the joy that occurs when they are unexpectedly brought together.

Fruits Basket (2019)'s third opening "Prism" was performed by Japanese musicians AmPm feat. Japanese singer and songwriter Miyuna. Its visuals depict Tohru and the Sohmas on summer vacation, soaking up rays and enjoying their time on the beach. Its visuals also depict the Sohma's zodiac animals, which are the forms that they take when embraced by the opposite sex.

Hell Girl's first opening "Sakasama No Chou" ("The Inversed Butterfly") was performed by Japanese singer and songwriter SNoW. Its visuals depict Ai Enma, the Hell Girl, wandering the city streets and countryside looking in search of beauty. She briefly watches a fish suffocate out of water, a subtle nod to those who are so desperate for revenge that they would cast away their own souls.

Sailor Moon Cosmos (Part 1)'s opening "Moonlight Densetsu" ("Moonlight Legend") was performed by Eternal Sailor5Guardians. Its visuals depict Sailor Moon and her fellow Sailor Guardians battling against the forces of evil. They also depict her relationship with Tuxedo Mask, a love so powerful that it extends to a previous life.

Sailor Moon Cosmos (Part 2)'s opening "Sailor Star Song" was performed by voice actresses Nana Mizuki, Marina Inoue, Saori Hayami, and Ayane Sakura. Its visuals depict the events of the final arc of the series, where the Sailor Guardians battle against the Shadow Galactica, an organization determined to conquer the galaxy.

Trinity Blood's opening "Dress (Bloody Trinity Mix)" was performed by Japanese rock band BUCK-TICK. Its visuals depict the various humans and vampires that struggle for the fate of the world, from Esther Blanchett and her fellow Catholic nuns and priests, to the benevolent vampire that is Abel Nightroad.
