Sci-Fi / Superhero Series

All-Star Superman (2011) is an animated film adaptation of the comic series of the same name. It adapts the story of All-Star Superman with a simple and clean art style, while generally being a faithful adaptation. Reviewers of the film generally seemed to like it, but also acknowledged that the episodic nature of the series makes it feel a bit unfocused in movie form.

Batman: Hush (2019) is an animated film adaptation of the comic series of the same name. It adapts the story of Batman:Hush in a gritty style reminiscent of Batman Beyond while making some drastic changes to the series' story. Reviewers generally seemed to like it, but they lamented the changes made to the comic's ending.

Watchmen (2009) is a live-action film adaptation of the comic series of the same name. It tells the story of Watchmen with Zack Snyder's signature style, while making changes to certain plot events. While the initial reviews of the film were generally mixed, with some feeling that the full depth of the original was lost, it has since received a cult following.

Watchmen (2024) is a two-part cg animated film adaptation of the comic series of the same name. It tells the story of Watchmen with fewer deviations from the source material than the 2009 live-action film, and does so with its own unique cell-shaded style. Fans and critics generally enjoyed the adaptation, though some felt the cg was passible at best.
