Through Student Life, UACCM strives to enhance the student experience by way of social, educational, and recreational programming that supports student success, academic excellence, and community involvement. Activities are scheduled throughout the year and are open to all students, and a variety of student organizations offer membership based on academic or special interests. Popular annual and bi-annual events include Welcome Week, Fall Fest, Spring Fling, Freebie Fridays, and free t-shirt giveaways. Other recurring activities include intramural sports, BINGO for prizes, holiday celebrations, and more.

Students can stay updated by following UACCM Student Life on Facebook or Instagram.  Additional information about Student Life is available on the UACCM website, including amenities, recreation and intramural sports, events calendar, and student organizations.

Large events Student Life hosts in the fall typically include: Welcome Week (events vary), 3v3 basketball tournament, Fall Fest, and multiple events for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Winter Holidays.  All students are encouraged to attend events on campus!

Student Organizations

Religious Organizations: Baptist Collegiate Ministry “BCM” serves lunch every Thursday and does a bible study; Faith Forward has a weekly devo and prayer meeting.

Degree Specific: Student Nursing Organization “SNO” (for active PN/RN students only) completes service projects and attend events; SkillsUSA (for Construction, Drafting, and Welding students) competes against other schools.

Honorary Services Groups: Phi Theta Kappa “PTK” has requirements and a membership fee to join, and they do research projects and compete for awards for their chapter; National Technical Honor Society.

Special Interest: UACCM Gaming, Geek Squad Surveyors, Welding Tech

Campus Recreation Facilities

Union Square/Basketball Court - Tired of sitting down inside a classroom all day? Come outside and enjoy Union Square. It has a full-sized basketball court* and plenty of park benches to sit and enjoy the weather.

Fitness Center - The Fitness Center is located in the Health and Fitness building. Hours of operation are 6:00 am until 7:00 pm Monday through Friday. The Fitness Center is provided for use to the students and employees of UACCM and features 11 plate-loaded machines, two cable machines, two Paramount treadmills and two ellipticals. Users are asked to sign in each time. Children are not permitted in the Fitness Center.

Disc Golf - Located in the center of campus, between the Business Technology Center and the Tech II Building, the course features nine challenging holes which cover an expanse of grass, trees, and water. You can bring your own equipment or check it out at the Student Union* for a quick game between or after classes.

Walking Trail - UACCM has a quarter-mile lighted walking trail on the west end of campus that features several exercise stations. Individuals may use the walking trail 24-hours per day, seven days per week.

*Students can check out a variety of items from the Student Life Coordinator in the Student Union.  Items include basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, hammocks, discs, volleyballs, etc.

The Timberwolf Grill (TWG)

Located in the Student Union, TWG offers daily lunch specials and affordable food options. Prepaid Timberwolf Grill meal cards are great for any UACCM student and available in amounts of $50, $100, or $200 for the semester.

Students may use available financial aid to purchase a Timberwolf Grill meal card. Visit the Financial Aid Office during the normal charge time to check eligibility and available funds. Terms and conditions apply.
