The Academic Commons provides course reserves services to the campus. Course reserves are items that are specifically tied to a course curriculum. The items may be required use or supplemental materials. Lecture notes and research articles may also be placed on reserve.
Items on reserve are designated as in-house use only and kept secure behind the Academic Commons service desk. Students may access items on reserve by inquiring at the service desk and providing their UACCM student ID.
When budget allows and when a reserve item meets standard selection processes, the Academic Commons may purchase the reserve item. Instructors may also provide the reserve item from a personal copy with the choice to have the item returned at the end of the reserve period, or may choose to donate the item to the Gordon Library Collection.
Items may not stay on reserve indefinitely.
