Notes:

Due to their value and demand, these resources cannot leave the Gordon Library. Students are, however, encouraged to use materials anywhere within the library's public space or study rooms..

These resources can be checked out in two-hour blocks, and only one model per student(In the case of a group of students using a study room and Science Center, only one bone box may be checked out and used in a given room at a time.)

Update: 10 APR 2023 Due to repeated instances of material theft and mixing of bones, we are having to institute additional checkout procedures for the "bone boxes."  Going forward, materials in the bone boxes will be separated into a number of bags with defined counts and weights.  At checkout, students will be offered the opportunity to go through the box with a staff member and confirm that ALL items are in the box.

Similarly, when students check-in the bone box they will be given the opportunity to observe the staff members confirming the presence of all bones before completing check-in. The Library Director regrets the inconvenience this will impose on both staff and patrons, but it has become necessary.
