Writing Resources

Currently UACCM does not offer on-campus tutoring for writing. Here are all the options:

Pre-Nursing: PAX Test Prep

Free online resources from Learning Express:

• The LearningExpress test preparation system includes studying strategies.
• Review and questions/answers on verbal ability, reading, math, general biology, human physiology & anatomy, chemistry, and general science are included.

Print Resources from the UACCM Library:

Several books and study guides are available for students to check out. Most of these books include preparation for a variety of tests. Some parts do not apply to the PAX Verbal test. There is no cost to check out these items. They may be found in the current study guide section near the circulation desk and the Nursing general section (RT 55 and RT 57). Library staff will be glad to help you locate these materials.

Other Resourses:

The UACCM Nursing Department recommends using a variety of resources to prepare for the NLN PAX test. Please note that some items are free; others have a fee associated with them.

Below are a few sites that have testing information or offer free practice questions/quizzes/tests for PAX.
